Today, I took a 16 ounce plastic cup (red, if it matters) full of change to the change counting machine. Once I sorted out the Euros, random world currency (both current and retired) and miscellaneous bits and pieces, it had $48 in it. Of course, a cup full of pennies would be much less and one full of quarters would be more, but I think we can safely estimate that a 16 ounce plastic cup completely full with a mixture of US coins will probably have between $40 and $60 in it. Now you know!
