According to reports, the test roll-out of the new electronic health records system, known as MHS Genesis, has at a minimum tripled wait times for prescriptions. The four test sites included — Madigan Army Medical Center on Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Naval Hospital Bremerton, Fairchild Air Force Base hospital and Naval Health Clinic Oak Harbor — have all seen pharmacy operations slow dramatically as they struggle to adapt to MHS Genesis.
