Militants in Pakistan torched a U.S.-NATO fuel tanker Wednesday and killed the vehicle's driver, police said.
The armed militants opened fire at the tanker, which was in the Khuzdar district of the Balochistan province and was transporting fuel to the troops in Afghanistan.
The driver was killed immediately and two others were injured.
The militants then drove closer to the tanker, set it on fire and sped away, Dawn News reported.
No one has claimed responsibility for the attack and police are investigating.
In a separate incident, a woman and her three children were critically injured in a land mine explosion early Wednesday in the Dera Bugti district.
No one has claimed responsibility for the explosion, Dawn News said.
