Netanyahu: Iran, Hezbollah Behind Terror Campaign

JERUSALEM - Iran and its Lebanese proxy Hezbollah are conducting "a global campaign of terrorism," and are behind the attack on Israeli tourists in Bulgaria, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Thursday.

Addressing a news conference in Jerusalem, he called Iran "the world's number one state exporter of terrorism" and, in a reference to Iran's alleged nuclear weapons programme, said that "the most dangerous state on earth must not attain the most dangerous weapon."

"I think it is time that all the countries that know the truth - not just Israel - say so: Iran is behind the wave of terror attacks," he said.

Israel, he said, would extract "a heavy price" from those who masterminded the Bulgaria attack.
