I remember It well we got our butts kicked. Bob Clewell commented "this was ARVN graduation exercise and they failed". How about "we" (U.S and its allies) failed as a team ? These were the growing pains of a modernizing professional military for the ARVN. How do you expect to transform an agricultural based nation to modern industrialize military in five years during war and expect to win a conventional war alone against the Soviet bloc (the NVA had Chinese and Russian advisors fighting too) ?
