From the cameraman: "Just finished training Iraqis firefighters how to use there equipment and a small first aid course. We were on our way back to our post. You can see the white blimp in the distance. only a 5 minute walk when we were hit by a HME, IED Home made explosive, improvised explosive device. Was my very lucky day. Hit with shrapnel / rocks to the back of the head. but pretty minor to what it could have been." 2009 April, 2-5 CAV, Dis-mounted IED Close call
