Rare combat footage from World War One shows two armies fighting in hand-to-hand combat.

    This is not combat footage. The camera is filming from an elevaed position o a crane or scafold and it is obvously stabilized and not sbject to vibration from being hand held by a man under fire and close to large atllery rounds impacing around him. Also, if you watch the "action" The "hand to hand " combat is not lethal or extremley violent in nature. Who ever posted this has most likley never been in combat or seen it. The clip is probably from one of the classi war films of the 1920's such as "What Price Glory" (1926),or "Wings"(1927), less likley is "Victory" (1928, British). I have lng been a student of WWI and I am very familiar with actual footage that exists.
