Aug 30, 2014 -- Syrian forces have launched strikes on a militant position in a strategic area of Damascus for a second day. A number of hideouts and tunnels have been destroyed in the attacks on Jobar district. The militants have used the district as a staging area for attacking the capital over the past year.
