In Syria, opposition fighters say they've killed dozens of people in two explosions and fighting at the government's military headquarters. But state TV says only four security guards died and 14 people were injured. The Military headquarters are in the heavily guarded Umayyad Square district. The two explosions were caused by suicide car bombs. The explosions were heard several kilometres away, and shattered the windows of the nearby Dama Rose hotel.
