Huge US Air Strike Hits War Torn Kobane

Huge explosions have been seen in the Syrian city of Kobane - despite claims from Islamic State (IS) that fighting there is "nearly over". The militants released an apparently scripted video with British hostage John Cantlie saying, "The battle for Kobane is coming to an end... it is very quiet, just the occasional gunfire." However, the BBC's Jiyar Gol on the Turkey-Syria border witnessed a massive blast in Kobane - thought to be a US airstrike.
