Decimate means, in this case, taking out one in ten. Don't think that's what they meant.

THERE IS NOTHING INAPPROPRIATE ABOUT KILLING THE INSURGENT BASTARDS.
It didn't decimate them (take out 1/10thof them, it obliterated them.
These guys might have been anybody, from Sunni Awakening to some Shiite politican's bodyguards to Rangers in disguise. How could we lose this war with such technological superiority? Bradley Manning is in jail for releasing such videos.

From the results shown, it seems the Apache crew took out 100%, not 10% of the hostiles. Good shooting, though. Might wanna choose a different term than decimate in describing the outcome of the engagement.
