"Taking RPG, mortar, and automatic weapons fire from both sides of the river at Manogai Base, Afghanistan, formerly known as COP Able Main, located in the Pech River Valley, the most dangerous part of Afghanistan. This is how you return fire, not all crying and running like an idiot, find your target, wait for a good time, expose as little as possible, and let 'er rip! The guy with me was our FO, who was calling up a fire mission. He was somehow always next to me on the ground when we got attacked haha. Anyways, we are with 25th ID out of Schofield, HI."
