"A Chinook helicopter was hit by an RPG in Afghanistan during a night vision raid on an enemy location. Fortunately the rpg only hit the ramp, doing minimal damage. Some crew sustained minor injuries."

When is someone going to devote the necessary funds and focus to developing a trophy system for/ fitting it out on Chinooks? It has to be achievable... Enough already!
Exactly 29485101...Placing them on armored vehicles, but not helicopters is lunacy.
A trillion+ $ for Iraq, plus wear and tear on equipment/ replacement costs... yet to come, cost of helping the hereos that have been wounded or left families behind, the interest on the borrowed money, billions for way out DARPA projects, thats all fine but not when no one bothers to fund/ stop some dickhead with an rpg taking down easy target? Lunacy is correct. Priorities!!!
