I have never seen a M-2 jamming so bad. Every two to three rounds.

Yeah, it's called head space and timing....this is an obvious timing issue. Thought the Marines were better than that...

NOTE to users of the .50 Cal...It loves OIL...NOT just a patch with some oil on it...HINT: Spray a little oil on the ammunition....I was considered at one time a MASTER with the ole girl Ma Deauce..It also loves 7-10 round burst..not 2-3...Keep it up guys I wish I could be there with you to gift out some of those .50 Cal shells to the bad huys

From experience in 'Nam, Besides proper Head-space and timing, the Ma Deuce loved oil, We always had a big pump oiler with motor oil and liberally oiled the hell out of the action and the ammo during operation. Of course it was a Jungle and we didn't have quite the dust problem that you guys are having. Just my 2 cents worth. Sgt. Bob Clark, 2/2 Inf. (Mech), Big Red One, LaiKhe Vietnam, 1967-1968

Looks to me like the weapon he was using was a piece of junk. He seldom sustained automatic fire beyond three to five rounds.

There's a bunch of people who should be ashamed of themselves. The gunner shouldn't have to be fighting to make the damned weapon work. Turn to, and square away that shit!!!

Inappropriate comments?!!! Get out there and fight, yourself, then come back and tell me what's inappropriate. Fucking cumdumpster!!!

It’s called preventative maintenance and PCI’s try it, it does work. Clean the weapon, oil the weapon set the head space and timing with the proper gauge not the nickle and dime crap and Ma will talk her A$$ off to the bad guys. If you don't take care of her she won't take are of you.

Check your head space and timing before you take off

I have to agree, i have never delt with a browning that has ever jammed up as much as this one. When i was in Afganistan i used the 50 cal only about to or three times. We did use that oiling the ammo trick to get it to work, worked sometimes, sometimes not. Don't know what the hell is wrong with their's but all of my platoon's weapons worked perfectly.

We seem to be s great at weapons and new technology and then have to send the troops in with archaic stuff all the time, waste ammo and have a hard time offing one guy.

To bad they don't have a MK 19. I loved that gun. That 50 probably needs a good wipe down, lube and H&T.
