Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore has never been one to not speak his mind and, on Monday morning, he did it again on Twitter sparking a firestorm. Sunday afternoon, Moore tweeted that his uncle was killed by a sniper and said snipers "Will shoot u in the back. Snipers aren't heroes. And invaders r worse". He followed it up with another tweet five hours later: "But if you're on the roof of your home defending it from invaders who've come 7K miles, you are not a sniper, u are brave, u are a neighbor." When followers and critics claimed Moore was criticizing the movie "American Sniper", the number one movie at the box office this weekend, Moore responded Monday morning: "I never tweeted 1word bout AmericanSniper/ChrisKyle. I said my uncle killed by sniper in WWII; only cowards would do that 2 him, others". In response, users continue to criticize Moore saying he was implying that he was talking about the movie. He posted his review of the Clint Eastwood film here while critics continued to voice their opposition.
