Bionic Finger Allows Amputees to Feel

    Dennis Aabo Sørensen has become the first amputee to trial a new bionic fingertip that has allowed him to feel and distinguish different textures. Sensors in the silicon fingertip detect changes in the texture and these are sent to electrodes implanted into the nerves in what remains of his arm.
