The Sound of Willie Nelson's Guitar stars Jessica Steen (Armageddon, Flashpoint) as Karen Roberts, a Canadian Peace Keeper struggling with the post- traumatic stress of her experience in the Bosnian War. After her transport hits a roadside bomb killing her companion and leaving her stranded in a region caught up in violent conflict, Karen is forced to escape on foot toward a military post a few kilometers away. Her race to safety is threatened however when she stumbles upon a wounded Bosnian boy played by Sam Duke (Flirting With Forty, Heartland). Karen struggles to keep the boy conscious while trying to move the two of them away from danger. Unable to communicate in each others languages, it is music that eventually bonds the two in a way that leaves them forever connected.
