Pearl Harbor Movie Attack Scene

Pearl Harbor is a 2001 American action drama war film directed by Michael Bay and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Randall Wallace, who wrote the screenplay. Pearl Harbor is a dramatic reimagining of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the subsequent Doolittle Raid. Some of its scenes were among the last to be filmed in Technicolor. Despite mixed reviews from critics, Pearl Harbor was a box office smash, earning $449,220,945 at the world wide box office.

    This piece of trash couldn't come close to Tora Tora Tora. Ben Afleck is a fighter pilot who then pilots a B-25. Give me a break. And the attack scenes are shown with modern Destroyers and Frigates being attacked. No work went into the accuracey but in Hollywood hype.

    And they didn't have carries with angle flightdecks either. I agree, Tora, Tora, Tora was much better! Our carrier pulled into Pearl as they were filming Tora.

    Good movie but crappy editing. How may old salts,and not so old salts, noticed something interesting about the 3 ships blown up at the 2:15 time mark? They were all ships that were BUILT during the 1960's. How did they let that slip buy when editing the film???
