Dash Cam Shows Bagram Crash

Dash cam footage has surfaced that allegedly shows Monday's US cargo plane crash in Bagram that claimed the lives of all seven people aboard. The Pentagon is trying to determine if the video is real.

    This should be shown to loadmasters in training. If it was a cargo problem its important they realize just how important their job is.

    I would agree, a shift in the cargo making it tail heavy.

    I'm no expert on cargo but have seen how it is loaded and secured. I think the other people are correct. it may have been a stall, But from the cargo shift? Or pilot error. it looked real to me. bad scene. GRTS.

    Yes, this video is real. An early report from a source at Bagram suggests that the 747-400 had cargo break loose on take-off and slide to the rear of the aircraft, causing an out-of-balance tail heavy condition, resulting in an excessively nose high departure attitude and subsequent stall of the aircraft. Once the aircraft stalled at that low altitude, recovery was impossible.

    This video appears to be real. You can hear the man driving his vehicle (stop and go), the dog, the plane's engines, the crash, the flames, the road and terrain, R.I.P. to the seven crew members and their families.
