    Cool, now make it last through repeated washing and make it affordable....

    Does it feel good next to the skin. Most of that stuff feels stiff and will rub exposed skin raw. Wool is a real good natural water repellent material with only one drawback - it itches. Lets go back to all wool uniforms.

    What about perspiration? If it's also repelling perspiration the poor soldier is going to be walking around in sweat-box without the heat.
