No 'Gun Control' Issues Here!
Now here are two excellent examples of "gun control" I can agree with. 1) Jerry Miculek is a speed shooter and competition shooting instructor. He is renowned as one of the fastest revolver shooters in the world, emptying a five-shot revolver in 0.57 seconds in a group the size of a playing card. Miculek currently holds five world records in exhibition revolver shooting. He is married to Kay Clark Miculek, herself an accomplished shooter, holding numerous national and world titles. 2) At just six years of age, Miko Andres from the Philippines is believed to be the world's youngest practical shooter. Complete with a gun belt, shades and a tailored shirt, Miko travels across the country participating in national junior competitions. Competing against children ten years his senior (in the 9-17 age group), Miko is now looking to travel to America to test his talents.

Really? That young? Does the kid even know what's coming out of the business end of that "NOISE MAKER" he's firing? Sorry, I don't care how "ready" your child is to start shooting, its not THAT AGE. Know what I'm talk'n bout? Your child may be responsible enough to empty the garbage every day and does his/ her chores but that doesn't mean you should stick a firearm in their young hands. You want your kids to learn about guns? ...Teach them how to NOT TOUCH THEM for awhile and when they master that and understand that it is an instrument of death and there are no "RE-DO's" then , maybe, you should do your training by qualified weapon instructors. Sticking a firearm in your kid's hands just for the "bragging rights" is stupid and irresponsible. Now, let the hate mail begin! But before you do, let's get this one arguement straight. Your arguement:" What if the kid needs to defend himself/herself?" THAT's WHAT MOMMIES and DADDIES are FOR! Got it? The kid should not be left alone in a dangerous environment. Now, let me hear that hate mail.
