It's great seeing the ladies handling firearms, especially the full auto. But someone really needs to teach them to lean INTO the long guns. I see so many people, men included, who think they need to lean backwards at the hips to "counterbalance" the weight of the gun. That's the quickest way to get knocked off balance by the recoil as evidenced by a couple of the ladies. Lean forward at the hips and have fun!

the military insider newsletter makes me embarassed for our troops...the content is immature and is catered toward conservative idiots who just wanna blow shit up in the sand. Its supposed to be service to protect social rights not to shoot guns. If you join the military just to shoot stuff god help us if you ever get the chance. And before you flame me I am talking about the advertising that the military.com site does...i think its stupid and it is directed at stupid people.
This is sexist. First these are women not girls. There is nothing offensive in calling adult females women. Second, clearly these women are novices and no one taught them correct posturing for firering high powered weapons..

Anyone who has never fired a weapon leans back not into the weapon, these photos show their backs bent back which means the idots teaching them may be as experienced as the girls. It is a range safewty and personal safety issue if the weapon can not be controled. Should not have given them a full magazine until the weapon was mastered.
