I'll Be Home for Christmas

Service men and women around the world, in over 200 locations in Afghanistan, will spend this holiday season away from their family. The soldiers, sailors, marines and airmen and their families endure this stressful separation as part of their service to the nation. Members of the armed services are stationed in over 130 countries around the world in over 900 bases. From combat in Afghanistan to the northern frontiers of Greenland, US military personnel are serving day in and day out, quietly protecting America and our freedoms. During this holiday season, it might be useful to pause and appreciate their sacrifice. http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=d_osXfhoP3Q

It won't be Christmas until he is home. This is a real tear jerker and reality check. Most people still take way too much for granted as families gather round for the holidays. My Christmas will have a huge void in it this year. Thank you to all the service men and women and God Bless you All

It makes me think of those that will never come back for Christmas. It made me very somber and sad.
