American Legion Riders Honor Fallen
Nebraska's Fallen Warriors WLC - The Ride -- This video starts with the assembly area at Shoemaker's Truck stop in Lincoln Nebraska. It features an interview with Commander Ed Waymire, Lincoln Chapter of the American Legion Riders Post 3, and Gold Star father, Bruce Slaven who traveled from Oklahoma. Then it's on to Interstate 80 with the American Legion Riders of Nebraska, American Veterans M/C, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association and the Patriot Guard. The finakl stop is at the mission assembly area, near American Legion Park in Hastings. We were granted the privilege by the families to remember two of our fallen Nebraska soldiers' for their service to this great nation. 1st LT. Kevin J. Gaspers and Sgt Wayne R. Cornell were killed in action fighting Islamic fighters in Iraq. We are grateful to them for protecting our families and our way of life. Please remember the families of these fallen heroes'; they have paid more for our freedoms' and liberties than we'll ever know. It is now our responsibility, as patriotic Americans, to remember these warriors and their courageous service to the United States of America. Never to be forgotten.
