U.S. Marines with Special-Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Crisis Response-Africa completed a live-fire training range with U.S. Army Special Forces in Baumholder, Germany, March 3, 2015. The training prepared the Marines to engage targets in close quarters and from behind a variety of concealed positions. Special Forces personnel demonstrated a series of shooting techniques for the Marines before working through live-fire maneuver drills at the base. The training familiarized the Marines with Special Forces tactics and procedures, paving the way for future operations where the two groups may be working side by side. SPMAGTF-CR-AF is based out of Morón Air Base, Spain, where the Marines are positioned to conduct crisis response missions in support of U.S. Africa Command. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Sgt.
