French Customs Seize 2.5 Tons of Cocaine
On 15 April 2015, customs officials conducted a record seizure of cocaine aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean. The quantities of drugs aboard reach 2.25 tonnes, the largest cocaine case conducted to date by the French customs. This seizure is the result of a two-year investigation by agents of the National Directorate of Intelligence and Customs Investigations (DNRED), with British and Spanish colleagues.
