Marine’s Body Sent Home without Heart

    Dec. 10 (UPI) -- U.S. Marine Sgt. Brian LaLoup was stationed at the U.S. Embassy in Greece in August of 2012 when he shot himself after a night of heavy drinking. But his parents say that his body arrived home for burial with his heart missing. Craig and Beverly LaLoup, of Coatsville, Penn., have filed a lawsuit against the United States government, the Department of Defense and the Navy, for failing to prevent the Greek government from performing an autopsy and taking his heart for "harvesting."
