    They need to be fast -- it has to be done after EVERY run (even practice)! New plugs, bearings, valves & springs, sometimes pistons & rings, the multiple clutch plates. As of 2005 they estimated it cost about $1,000 _PER SECOND_ to run a top fueler. And only about $50 of that was fuel! (abt $400 per run) Popular Science had a breakdown of everything 8-10 years back.
