Army Building IED Denial Systems

Never ceases to amaze me how our soldiers come up with such simple ideas such as this in the combat zone! U.S. Army allied trade specialists from Co. B, 703rd Brigade Support Battalion, 4th IBCT, 3rd ID, construct culvert IED denial systems to emplace along Highway 1 in eastern Afghanistan. Sgt. Patrick Lewis and Spc. Jonathan Carpenter explain the importance of the denial systems in order to stop the emplacement of IED's by the enemies of Afghanistan.
