The Point Blank exercise is designed and co-hosted by the U.S. Air Force's 48th Fighter Wing and the British Royal Air Force. This iteration of the recurring exercise includes nearly double the usual number of aircraft — including both 4th and 5th generation fighters, as well as refueling and reconnaissance aircraft — launching from multiple locations across the United Kingdom. France has joined the exercise for the first time this year, bringing Dassault Rafale fighter jets.
