Miss USA Promotes the USO Wishbook

For men and women serving in far off places like Southwest Asia, the Pacific, Europe and other spots around the globe, the holiday time can be very difficult. This holiday season, the USO has a new and rewarding way for all of us to show our support of our servicemen and women so far away from home. This month, the USO launched the USO Wishbook, the organization's first-ever alternative giving website. A first of its kind, it is the most comprehensive such website that solely supports U.S. troops and their families. It follows the same model as other successful "giving catalogs," with funds from the gifts going directly to the USO, helping this historic, non-profit organization achieve its mission of lifting the spirits of America's troops and their families.
