TNT 777 Frieghter Gets a Paint Job
The TNT 777 Frieghter was manufactured at Boeing's Everett factory, Washington State, USA, the world's largest building in volume. It was built in 49 days by thousands of workers, and includes 3 million parts provided by more than 500 suppliers. It took five days and over 150 gallons (570 litres) of paint to add the distinctive TNT colour to the 209 foot fuselage. The TNT 777 can accommodate 37 industry-standard pallets (2.5 m x 3.1 m, or 96 in x 125 in), and can fly 9,070 km with a payload of 226,000 lbs (103 metric tons).
