    I would pit the "bigger threat" on giving the TSA more AUTHORITY. Seems to me that this is just their way of 'slowly' getting the public used to seeing them. So, what happens when they are able to stop non-commercial vehichles in checkpoints? Will they be allowed to search without a WARRANT? My guess is that legally...no, but forcefully...YES.

    Kiss your 4th and 5th amendments goodbye they will be just the first,also kiss you right of free and unrestricted travel goodbye.Nazi Germany had check points also and look what happened there.The key words here are "No Warrants or Prob.cause".Where will it end,this is just the beginning of a POLICE STATE.
