Pakistan Unveils First Domestic Drones

    Nov. 25 (UPI) -- The Pakistani military announced on Monday that it had introduced its first fleet of domestically-developed drones into its Army and Air Force. According to a press release from the Pakistani military's Inter Services Public Relations department, the strategic unmanned aerial vehicles produced by Pakistan include the Burraq and Shahpar UAV systems. They are intended to be "a very effective force multiplier" for the Armed Forces but could also be used "in various socio-economic development projects," acknowledged ISPR.
