Russia's New Aerobatic Team 'Wings of Tauris'

    In the cockpit with Russia's newest aerobatic team 'Wings of Tauris' training in the Voronezh region. In 2015, a fifth aerobatic team will begin working with the Russian Air Force’s Yak-130 combat training aircraft. This is the first Russian aircraft without any on-board analog devices. The aircraft avionics were developed on a “glass cockpit” model with the participation of KRET experts. “In 2015, the newest aerobatic team ‘Wings of Tauris’ will begin demonstrating its flying skills on the Yak-130 combat training aircraft,” Colonel Igor Klimov, representative of the Russian Air Force and Ministry of Defense’s press service said. “Wings of Tauris” first demonstrated its flying skills in May 2015 during an air parade in honor of the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II, Klimov explained.
