F/A-18F Hornets Continue Flights Over Iraq

ARABIAN GULF (Aug. 27, 2014) U.S. Navy F/A-18F Super Hornets return to the flight deck aboard the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) following a mission over Iraq. Then F/A-18F Super Hornets are catapult launched to fly additional missions in support of targeted airstrikes to protect U.S. personnel and interests, in response to activities conducted by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) terrorists.
