Marines with Marine Light Attack Training Squadron 303 provide close air support from a UH-1Y Huey helicopter during a training exercise northeast of Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Ariz., Feb. 12, 2013. The crew of the UH-1Y fire the GAU-21 .50 caliber machine gun and an M134 minigun at simulated targets in the California desert.

    It does not look like a comfortable position to have to squat that entire time. My legs would fall asleep.

    Cool so what class was that at MAWTS-1 ? IYAOYAS the weapons and the rockets worked, but I'm not to sure about where they where shooting.

    USAF should add this as well to their Huey's - given the utmost security that should be given to security of Nuclear weapons. Not a bad idea to have it as part of universal AirBase Defense strategy. Marines got it (depot is run by USMC) it would not require additional R/D testing by USAF. Makes sense...so it won't happen...
