At least 500 wheelchair athletes, including some U.S. military Veterans, will compete at the 29th National Veterans Wheelchair Games being held (July 13-18, 2009) in Spokane, Wash. The annual games are presented by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA). Veterans will compete in 17 different sports.
