VA Summer Sports Clinic
Week of September 29, 2008
The Department of Veterans' Affairs' (VA's) first ever National Veterans Summer Sports Clinic is being held in and around San Diego from Sept. 28 -- Oct. 3, 2008. Events include surfing, sailing, track and field, kayaking, and cycling. The clinic joins VA's four other annual national special events in offering veterans with significant physical or psychological impairments opportunities to demonstrate their athletic abilities and competitive spirits.
