VA Health Care Funding Bill Passes House
Week of July 06, 2009
The House of Representatives recently approved H.R. 1016, which would secure timely funding for veterans' health care delivered through the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) by allowing funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical accounts one year in advance. Testimony from an April 2009 hearing on VHA funding is available on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs website. A companion bill has been introduced in the Senate, S. 423.
