VA Funds New Cemetery for Missouri

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) announced a $7,555,296 grant to establish a new, 228-acre, state veterans cemetery at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.  In its initial 18-acre development, the cemetery will provide 4,893 full-casket gravesites, 1,412 in-ground cremation burial sites and 1,024 columbarium niches.  Information on VA burial benefits can be obtained from national cemetery offices, from VA's Burial and Memorials webpage or by calling VA regional offices toll-free at 1-800-827-1000.
