USO Golf Tourney and Live Webathon

On Wednesday Oct. 1, 2008, CBS Radio L.A. will host a Celebrity Golf Tournament and Live Webathon to raise funds and to support operational programs at the Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX and the USO Centers at Palm Springs and Ontario, California International Airport. These USO Centers serve as recreation and service areas for American troops and their families on the move to and from duty stations worldwide. The centers serve more than 55,000 troops annually and have been increasingly active due to the continuing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. The 12-hour webathon hosted by K-EARTH 101's morning show personality Gary Bryan, will feature other CBS Radio stars such as Lisa Stanley, "Shotgun Tom" Kelly, Leo Quinones, Adam Carolla, Brian McKnight, Pat Prescott and many others.  The webathon will also feature live and pre-taped appearances by celebrities, troops, veterans and their families!
