Sports Clinic Registration Opens

Registration for participation in the 23rd National Veterans Winter Sports Clinic is open now through Nov. 30, 2008 for the disabled veterans who are expected to register to ski the Rocky Mountains at the 23rd National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic in Snowmass Village, April 1 - 4, 2009. Contact Teresa Parks, Administrative Coordinator of the Clinic at (970) 263-5040 to obtain a registration package. Co-sponsored by VA and the Disabled American Veterans (DAV), the Clinic is an annual rehabilitation program open to U.S. military veterans with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, orthopedic amputations, visual impairments, certain neurological problems and other disabilities who receive care at a Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical facility or military treatment facility.
