Rotarians Offer 'Light' to Troops
Week of October 13, 2008
The Rotary Club of Ponte Vedra Beach California. is doing their part to support troops with a campaign to donate mini flashlights to the Al Asad Airbase in Iraq. These mini flashlights, popular among the Marines because they are less cumbersome than standard military flashlights, help troops get around the base safely at night. In addition, the lights can be shared with Iraqi locals and children to help spread goodwill. Visit www.rotarylight.org to learn more about this program.
