Pain Management Task Force
Week of August 23, 2010
The Army Surgeon General, LTG Eric Schoomaker, charted the Pain
Management Task Force in August 2009 to provide recommendations for an
Army Medical Command comprehensive pain management strategy. The Pain
Management Task Force Report is available under Reports on the MEDCOM web site in .pdf format. The report
recommends that the Army's pain management strategy be integrated with
the Comprehensive Soldier Fitness Program, the Army Suicide Task Force
recommendations and other Army and DoD initiatives.
