Wisconsin women who have served in any branch of the U.S. military are eligible to apply for one of the new "Woman Veteran" license plates available through the state Division of Motor Vehicles. Fees for Woman Veteran plates include the basic annual vehicle registration fee -- currently $75 for many cars and trucks -- plus a $15 fee when new, non-personalized plates are issued. Funds collected from the $15 issuance fee are transferred to the Veterans Trust Fund at the Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs. For more information, visit the Wisconsin Department of Transportation website . An image of the new license plate is on the Wisconsin Department of Transportation website.
