Veterans and family members impacted by the hurricanes can get information about VA services at our Emergency Information page, which also includes toll-free phone information. VA employees should visit the same Emergency Information page for a separate toll-free number to report their status, or use the employee emergency information website to report in online. Information for Medical Centers affected by the storms is available at the following websites: New Orleans, Biloxi, Houston. Tips on preparing for, surviving and recovering from a hurricane are listed at www.ready.gov and the American Red Cross website.
