Servicemembers who have been medically separated since Sept. 11, 2001 with a combined disability rating of 20 percent or less, and not found eligible for retirement, will have the opportunity to have their disability ratings reviewed by the new Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR). There differences between this new PDBR review and a Board for Correction of Military (or Naval) Record (BCMR/BCNR) review are outlined here. The application form should be available on the Military Health System website on or about Dec.1, 2008. For more information, please refer to the FAQ document and the DoD Instructions.
