Diplomas for Sacramento Veterans
Week of April 20, 2009
The Sacramento California County Office of Education is offering diplomas to veterans and Japanese Americans whose education was disrupted by war. Applicants must be Sacramento County residents, give the name of the school they were attending, and show proof of honorable discharge from military service during World War II or internment. Diplomas also can be requested for deceased family members. Applications are available at the Sacramento County Office of Education website or by mail: Operation Recognition, P.O. Box 269003, Sacramento, CA 95826. May 8, 2009 is the deadline to submit applications.
