Deadline to Join PTSD Class Action Lawsuit Extended

A judge extended the deadline for a class action lawsuit that hopes to get monetary compensation for veterans who suffered Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from their service in the wars in the Middle East. The extension would allow more veterans to sign on to the pending litigation. The lawsuit was brought on behalf of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom veterans by the National Veterans Legal Services Program and pro-bono counsel. Military veterans who were discharged between Dec. 17, 2002 and Oct. 14, 2008 may be eligible to join the class-action lawsuit Sabo, et. al. vs. U.S. The deadline to sign-up is Nov. 10, 2010.
